Endowment Naming Opportunities

Benefits to your Community and your Name

To recognize donors’ support for Legal Services of North Florida's services and programs supported by endowed funds often are named after those who make these generous gifts. Depending on the wishes of the donor, the name of a loved one, a respected colleague or the donor's firm or business also may be honored.

Naming Opportunity Updates

Below are Legal Services of North Florida's specific endowment naming opportunities for giving levels from $5,000 through $1 million. Listed are the annual payout amount for each level and the LSNF people and programs that an endowment would support. Click on the linked naming opportunities for more detail.

Attorney Position  |  Building/Office Naming  |  Named Endowment

$1 million
Annual payout: $50,000 (estimated annual support of LSNF programs and/or staff)
People: Attorney Position
Programs: Children's Advocacy, Consumer and Disaster, Domestic Violence, Family, Elders, General Services, Housing and Homelessness, Rural Outreach, and Pubic Benefits
Facilities: Fort Walton Beach, Panama City, Pensacola, Quincy and  Tallahassee

Endowed Attorney Position
A minimum outright commitment of $1 million is required to fund a named attorney position to supplement an existing attorney position in a designated program area.  Gifts can either be made in one lump sum, pro rated over 3-5 years or established as an irrevocable clause in a planned giving document.  All gifts must adhere to LSNF's Donor Gift Policy.  It is the intention of LSNF that all donors are encouraged to make their gifts unrestricted so that they may be used to best fulfill the mission of LSNF at any time.  All gifts not directed to a particular area of service will be placed in the LSNF 30th Anniversary Fund.  To endow an attorney position is very much like an endowed chair at a university.

Examples: The Marc Taps Civil Legal Assistance Chair, The Richard Smith Civil Legal Assistance Chair, etc.
